Anthony F. Walsh

Anthony F. Walsh age 79 years died in the Norwood Hospital in Norwood, Massachusetts on Monday, November 21, 2011. Born in Malden, Massachusetts on October 29, 1932, he was the son of the late Edward and Bridget (Connolly) Walsh. He graduated from Malden High School and later graduated from Curry College. Mr. Walsh proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He has been a resident of East Walpole, Massachusetts for the past 38 years moving there from Wilmington.

He worked as an accountant for the William Underwood Company in Westwood from 24 years, and later retired from the Natick Labs, where he worked as an auditor, in 1996.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Walpole and was an avid Rod Sox and Patriots fan. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandsons.

Beloved husband of the late Bernice (Rudz) Walsh. Loving father of Stephen J. and his wife Kerry Walsh of Walpole. Cherished grandfather of Cameron J. Walsh and Evan W. Walsh both of Walpole. Brother of Catherine MacFarlane of Fort Myers, FL, the late Edward Walsh, and the late John Walsh. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Saint Mary's Church 176 Washington Street E. Walpole on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 9:00 AM. Visiting hours are Friday, November 25, 2011 from 4-8PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole.
