Anne R. (DeAngelis) Russetti, 96 of Walpole, passed away peacefully at the Charlwell House in Norwood on Saturday July 15th, 2017. Born in Revere, Massachusetts on September 21, 1920, she was the daughter of the late John and Rose (Bright) DeAngelis. She was raised in Revere, graduating from Revere High School with the Class of 1937.
Anne married her husband, Joseph J. Russetti, on September 21, 1941 and together they made their home in Walpole. After the outbreak of World War II, Anne became very active with the Red Cross and served as an aide. After the war ended, Anne took a job as a Sales and Marketing Representative in the Women's Apparel Industry, where she worked until her retirement in 1974. In addition to her full-time job, Anne was a published author of Short Stories and Poetry.
She was very involved in her community of Walpole, she served as a Girl Scout Leader in addition to being an active member of the Blessed Sacrament Church, where she served as a CCD teacher for many years. As the daughter of Italian immigrants, Anne was a proud member of the Norwood Italian Ladies Lodge 1690.
She was the devoted wife of the late Joseph J. Russetti and beloved mother of David Russetti and his partner Lawrence LeBeau of Milton, Rita Perry and her husband Charles of Marlboro, NJ and James Russetti of Norwood. Cherished sister of the late Ethel Wagner, Joseph, Anthony, and Lillian McLeod. Also survived by her grandchildren Lynn Perry and Christopher Perry of NJ and a host of Nieces and Nephews.
At the request of the family Funeral Services are private. Interment will be at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton. Funeral arrangements were made by the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home Walpole.
