Anne M. Owings

Anne M Owings, of South Pasadena, FL, formerly of Walpole, MA, died on May 7, 2014, at age 94. Mrs Owings was born in Boston, MA on December 28, 1919.

She received her education at the New England Conservatory of Music and Boston College. After a career at Eastern Airlines, she became a teacher and worked in the Walpole School system for many years. Upon her retirement , she volunteered at Children's Hospital in Boston.

Mrs Owings is survived by her husband of 59 years, Arthur H Owings, and two daughters: Missi Owings of Gulfport, FL, and Bonnie Owings Grace of Lakewood, CO.

Friends and relatives are kindly invited to attend her Life Celebration at James H Delaney Funeral Home, 48 Common St, Walpole, MA, on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 from 5-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Blessed Sacrament Church, 10 Diamond St, Walpole, MA, on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 10AM. Interment will follow at St Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury. Donations to Children's Hospital of Boston 300 Longwood Avenue Boston, MA 02115 are welcome.
