Anne W. Levis, age 75, passed away peacefully in the Harrington House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Walpole, Massachusetts on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 with her sister, Joyce, by her side. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on March 14, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Charles Allen and Margaret Anne (Dickson) Levis. After graduation, Anne took a secretarial position with National Shawmut Bank in Kenmore Square and later in their State Street location. Anne moved on to the Cambridge office and settled in Walpole, Massachusetts in the early 1970s. She retired in 1994 after 35 years of dedicated service.
Anne enjoyed playing cards with her co-workers at National Shawmut during their lunch breaks and spent many evenings bowling with them. She took countless trips to New Hampshire with her sister Joyce and her family, always enjoying time spent on the lakes, where she learned to water ski. Anne had a wonderful sense of humor and loved spending time with her family. As a devoted care giver, who cared for her mother in her own home, she was always the last to sit for dinner, making sure everyone had anything that they may need.
