Ann E. (Lawrence) Hazlett age 87 years died in the Caritas Norwood Hospital in Norwood, Massachusetts on Tuesday, January 11, 2011. Born in Concord, Massachusetts on May 8, 1923; she was the daughter of the late Harland B. C. and Christina (Cullinane) Lawrence. She graduated from Walpole High School with the class of 1941. Mrs. Hazlett has been a resident of Walpole, Massachusetts for the past 70 years.
She was a homemaker for all of her adult life, raising and caring for her family.
Beloved wife of the late Thomas F. Hazlett, Sr. Loving mother of Christina A. and her husband Allen Falconer of Norton, Mary F. Boragine of Walpole, Anne E. and her husband Richard Fernald of S. Attleboro, and the late Thomas F. Hazlett, Jr. Mother in law of Karen A. Hazlett of Walpole. Cherished grandmother of Ann, Mary, Susan, Steven, David, Thomas, III, Julie, Lauren, Richard, and Joseph. Proud great grandmother of 12. Sister of Mary W. Cook of Franklin, the late Christina Travers, the late Arthur Lawrence, and the late Harland Lawrence. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route 27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours are Friday, January 14, 2011 from 4 to 8 PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment is in Saint Francis Cemetery in Walpole.
