Ann G. Dionisio

Ann G. (Powers) Dionisio age 73 years died in the Ellis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Norwood, Massachusetts on Monday, December 24, 2012. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on October 16, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Francis J. and Mary (Woleyko) Powers. She graduated from the Boston State Teacher's College and went on to earn her Master's Degree in Theology, hoping to become the first female Priest in the Catholic Church. She has been a resident of Walpole, Massachusetts for the past 35 years moving there from West Roxbury.

She was a teacher and worked in the Boston Public School System.

Mrs. Dionisio was very involved in the Blessed Sacrament Church in Walpole. She was a Eucharistic Minister, a Funeral Deacon, and taught CCD.

Beloved wife of the late Henry L. Dionisio. Loving mother of Christopher and his wife Beth Dionisio of Norton and the late Rena L. Dionisio. Sister of Francis J. Powers of Boxborough, Judith Brand of Washington, DC and the late Mary Below.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route 27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 10AM. Visiting hours are Friday, December 28, 2012 from 4 to 7PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment will be private.
