Ann L. Connors age 75 years died in the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton, Massachusetts on Friday, January 22, 2010. Born in Portland, Maine on October 27, 1934; she graduated from South Portland High School with the class of 1952. She has been a resident of Sebago, Maine for the past 7 years, moving from Sharon, Massachusetts where she spent 38 years, and prior to Sharon, Mrs. Connors lived in Boston, Massachusetts.
She was the secretarial manager for the Ropes and Gray Law Firm in Boston, Massachusetts. Previously she had worked at the Northrop Corporation in Norwood, Massachusetts and the Howard Johnson corporate office in Braintree, Massachusetts.
Mrs. Connors atteded Our Lady of Sorrows Church when she lived in Sharon, Massachusetts and Our Lady of Sebago while she lived in Maine.
Mrs. Connors was an avid painter; she painted with both the Watercolor Club in Naples, Maine and the Watercolor Society of Rhode Island.
She enjoyed her summer home on Sebago Lake in Maine, as well as playing the piano, traveling, gardening, skiing, and spending time at the Maine Coast. Most especially, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Beloved wife of the late James F. Connors. Devoted daughter of the late Timothy M. and Mary L. (Massengale) Connolly. Loving mother of James T. and his wife Tanya Connors of Long Beach, CA, Karen M. and her husband Jim Connors of Mansfield, Kevin P. Connors of Tequesta, FL, and Paul E. Connors of Phoenix, AZ. Cherished grandmother of James A. Connors and Kristen E. Connors both of Mansfield and Kristin Banta-Bland of CA. Sister of the late William F. Connolly. Niece of James Connolly of Portland, ME. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows Cottage Street Sharon on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours are Tuesday, January 26, 2010 from 5-8PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment will be in Rock Ridge Cemetery in Sharon, Massachusetts.
