Anita C. McMahon

Anita C. (Geromini McMahon age 100 years died in the Medway Country Manor in Medway, Massachusetts on Wednesday, January 19, 2011. Born in Franklin, Massachusetts on September 16, 1910; she was the daughter of the late Lino and Teresa (Fantini) Geromini. She graduated from Franklin High School and later from the Pondville Hospital School of Nursing in Norfolk, Massachusetts. She has been a resident of Norfolk, Massachusetts since 1999, and had previously lived in Port Richie, Florida for 25 years and in Walpole, Massachusetts.

She was a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at the Pondville Hospital in Norfolk for 28 years, retiring in 1972.

Mrs. McMahon enjoyed traveling with her square dancing group; dancing and camping throughout the United States.

Beloved wife of the late Ernest W. McMahon. Loving mother of Ronald E. McMahon of Danville, VA and the late Geraldine G. Cameron. Cherished grandmother of 5 and great grandmother of 5. Sister of the late Lina Miconi, Bruna Degrazio, Alba Geromini, and Edith Castaldi.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral service in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole on Monday, January 24, 2011 at 2PM. Visiting hours are Monday, January 24, 2011 from 12 to 2PM. Interment is in Terrace Hill Cemetery Walpole.
