Angelina Ann Peyton

Angelina P. "Ann" (DiLibero) Peyton age 84 years died in the Sea View Retreat Nursing Facility in Rowley, Massachusetts on Wednesday, July 2, 2008. Born in Barre, Massachusetts on September 21, 1923 to her parents Frederico and Elvira (Salvatore) DiLibero, she graduated from Barre High School with the class of 1941. She went on to graduate from the Boston City Hospital School of Nursing with the class of 1945. She moved to Walpole in 1955 and then to Ipswich in 2002.

She was a registered nurse for 45 years and worked for Raytheon in Norwood in the Occupational Health Department for 18 years.

Mrs. Peyton was a member of the Foxboro Country Club, Sharon- Foxboro Bowling League, and Sons of Italy Norwood. She also was a Eucharistic Minister BSC and a volunteer at Caritas Norwood Hospital.

Ann was an avid skier and enjoyed skiing with her family until age 81. She enjoyed travel, bowling, golfing, the beach, the Red Sox and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Beloved wife of the late John T. Peyton. Loving mother of John T. Peyton, Jr. of Arlington, Dr. Robert V. Peyton of Mansfield, Eileen M. Peyton of Newburyport, James R. Peyton of Wayland, and Angela C. Peyton of Ipswich. Cherished grandmother of 7. Sister of Marion Petruccelli of Bloomfield, CT, Nora Sykes of Athol, Ralph DiLibero of CA, Ramsey DiLibero of PA, Margeine Ford of Long Lsland, NY, and Fred DiLibero of OK. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated in the Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route 27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours are Tuesday, July 8, 2008 from 4pm to 8pm in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment in Saint Francis Cemetery Walpole.
