Andrea B. Goodwin

Andrea B. Goodwin, 54, passed away unexpectedly on December 25th at her home in East Dennis, MA. She was born in Norwood, MA on March 4th, 1963 to Walter Leonard Goodwin and the late Geneva (Christie) Goodwin.

Andrea was raised in Walpole MA., and graduated from Walpole High School in 1981, and Lasalle College, Newton, MA in 1983. Andrea worked in various business administration and technology roles throughout her career. Andrea is also survived by Laurie J. McColgan and her husband Michael of East Dennis, MA; Stephen L. Goodwin and his wife Marina of Wrentham, MA; Mark A Goodwin and his wife Judith of Palmer, MA, Clifford A. Goodwin and Christine Emery of Bristol, RI, as well as her much loved rescue dog, Gomez.

"Auntie Andrea" was the loving and caring aunt to many nieces and nephews; Christie and Christopher McQuiggan and daughters Amelia and Kiera of Taunton, MA; Lee and Jill McColgan and sons Conor and Dean, and daughter Violet of Brattleboro, VT. Chelsea Goodwin, Jamieson Goodwin, and Brett Thomas of Palmer, MA. and Bradford S. Goodwin of North Attleboro, MA.

Andrea loved to spend time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews, and she enjoyed taking them to live music events whenever possible. She also enjoyed quiet times at many of the local Cape Cod beaches with family and friends. As a dog lover, Andrea enthusiastically volunteered to dog sit for family and friends' dogs whenever the opportunity arose. Andrea was an avid sports fan, and she especially enjoyed following the Patriots and the Red Sox.

Friends and family are invited to attend Andrea's Life Celebration on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 4-7 PM at the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole, MA. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Knollwood Memorial Park, 170 High Street, Canton MA.
