Amedeo L. DiTomasso

April 22, 1953 — March 31, 2011

Amedeo L. DiTomasso age 58 years died in the Spring Hill Regional Hospital in Spring Hill, Florida on March 29, 2011. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on April 22, 1952; he was the son of the late Amedeo L. and Marisa (Braida) DiTomasso. He graduated from Walpole High School, and later from New England Technical School. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He has been a resident of Spring Hill, Florida for the poast 3 years moving there from Foxboro, Massachusetts. He had previously resided in Walpole, Massachusetts.

Mr. DiTomasso was a master mechanic working at John Deere and Tom Chevrolet in Norwood, Massachusetts.

He enjoyed fishing, playing the accordion, raising and caring for animals, fixing up classic cars, and gardening. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.

Loving father of Sarah T. Vitiello of Plainville, Tina R. DiTomasso of Attleboro, and Amedeo L. DiTomasso, Jr. of Attleboro. Life partner of Carolyn M. Potter of FL. Cherished grandfather of Johnny Vitiello. Brother of Loredano DiTomasso of Walpole, Lorenzo DiTomasso of Foxboro, Romano DiTomasso of Walpole, Scott MacEachern of MD, Darin MacEachern of Norfolk, Kristin MacEachern of Hopedale, and the late Charles DiTomasso.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route 27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 9 AM. Visiting hours are Tuesday, April 5, 2011 from 4-8 PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment is in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, Massachusetts.
