Alicia M. Peterson

Alicia M. (Lawlor) Peterson age 92 years died in the Cape Cod Hospital on Thursday, November 10, 2011. Born in Dorchester, Massachusetts on September 4, 1919, she was the daughter of the late James and Henrietta (Bockelman) Lawlor. She graduated from Cardinal Spellman High School in Dorchester with the class of 1937. She has been a resident of Chatham, Massachusetts for the past 31 years moving there from Norwood, where she spent 30 years.

Mrs. Peterson was a homemaker for all of her adult life, raising and caring for her family.

She enjoyed cooking, yardwork, knitting, crocheting, and spending time with her family.

Beloved wife of 53 years of the late Charles W. Peterson. Loving mother of C. Kenneth Peterson of Norwell and Marlyn A. Peterson of Norwood. Cherished grandmother of Jesse Borraccino of Harwich and Charlie Peterson of Norwell and great grandmother of Adam Borraccino. Sister of the late Francis Lawlor and Edmund Lawlor. Aunt of Richard Lawlor of Walpole.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral service that will be held in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 1:00 PM. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 11AM to 1PM. Interment will be in Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton. Memorial donations may be made to: Chatham Fire and Rescue 135 Depot Road Chatham, MA 0263.
