Alice V. Higgins

Alice A. (Kewriga) Higgins, age 92, of Walpole, passed away peacefully in the Harrington House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Tuesday, October 6, 2015. Born in Medway, Massachusetts on August 16, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Efim and Natalia (Schelonck) Kewriga. She was raised in Medway, graduating from Medway High School with the class of 1940.

After moving to Walpole in 1951, Alice took a position as a quality control inspector with the Kendall Mills Company.

Beloved wife of the late William V. Higgins. Loving mother of Cynthia L. (Higgins) Willoth and her husband William of Walpole, and Mark W. Higgins of Fitchburg. Devoted "Darmie" to Kurt Willoth and his wife, Jamie, Kyle Willoth and Joshua Higgins. She also leaves several nieces and nephews including her godson, Paul Geigle of Wareham.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her Funeral Mass that will be held on Saturday, October 24 at 10:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Church, 10 Diamond Street, Walpole and will be celebrated by her nephew, Very Reverend Charles J. Higgins, VF. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy made by made to Xaverian Brothers High School, 800 Clapboardtree St, Westwood, MA 02090. Arrangements by the James H.
