Alice F. (Martel) Guy age 93 years died in the Maples Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wrentham, Massachusetts on Thursday, February 17, 2011. Born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island on January 16, 1918; she was the daughter of the late Ephrem and Marie Anne (Perron) Martel. She has been a resident of Walpole, Massachusetts since 1981 moving from North Smithfield, Rhode Island.

She was a homemaker for all of her adult life, raising and caring for her family.

Mrs. Guy volunteered her time and talent to the Lioness Project of Rhode Island, making baby blankets.

Beloved wife of the late Hilaire G. Guy. Loving mother of Pauline and her husband Gerald Lavallee, Jacqueline Baker and her late husband George H. Baker all of Warwick, RI, and Carol Ann and her husband Lawrence Michetti of Walpole. Cherished grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 6.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route 27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Visiting hours are Monday, February 21, 2011 from 4 to 8PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment is in St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham, Massachusetts. Memorial donations may be made to: George H.
