Mr. Alfred N. Petrino age 72 died in the Caritas Norwood Hospital on Saturday Evening, January 6th, 2006. Born in Brockton, Massachusetts on September 12, 1934, son of the late Orlando & Amelia (Guarino) Petrino. Raised in Brockton, he graduated from Brockton High School with the Class of 1952. He entered the United States Army and served his Country.
Al lived in Walpole for 48 years moving here from Brockton, he worked for over 30 years as a truck driver for the Bird Machine Company in South Walpole.
A member of Masons withthe Azure Lodge in Walpole and the Westwood Lodge
also a member of the Norwood Elks BPOE 2403
Mr. Petrino loved to do woodworking he made cabinets, stools, and anything for his grandchildren.
Beloved husband of Lillian (Meau) Petrino Loving father of Alfred N. Petrino, Jr. , Cheryl A. and her husband Paul Stelmash both of Walpole Cherished grandfather of Kaitlyn Petrino, Nicholas Stelmash and Cassandra Stelmash Father in law of Rosita Petrino of North Attleboro Brother of Roger Petrino of Middleboro, Irene Lacina of Bourne, and the late Donna McGrath. Also survived by several nieces and nephews
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated in the Blessed Sacrament Church Route 27 (East Street) @ Diamond Street Walpole on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 @ 10 AM. Visiting hours are Tuesday, January 9, 2007, from 4PM to8PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment Saint Francis Cemetery, Walpole, Massachusetts.
